Civic Engagement Email Course

We wanted to create a low-barrier learning opportunity for women looking to get more involved in their communities. Our Programs team developed the content around civic engagement. I then created the experience of the digital product, from user flow to reporting.


 

USER FLOW

I began by plotting the experience of the user as well as how the data will move through our systems. I kept this flow simple and used it for gathering feedback and approval from project stakeholders.

 

 

THE LANDING PAGE

I developed the landing page in Wordpress with integrations to Salesforce and Mailchimp. This is also when the Salesforce campaign and associated reports were created.

 

 

THE EMAILS

I then designed and built the four emails, and their automated journey, in Mailchimp. The emails were templatized to make it easy for team members to create new emails or adjust existing ones should they need to.

 

 

THE WORKBOOK

There was also a companion workbook for the course. I developed this in InDesign and created an interactive PDF so that users could complete the workbook as they made their way through the course.

 

 

THE REPORT

And of course, what good is a new program if you can’t report on its success. I built a spreadsheet to track registrant activity and currently have a Google Data Studio dashboard set up for real-time reporting.
