Build Experiences

SHE SHOULD RUN WEBSITE REDESIGN

In 2020, I managed a redesign of the She Should Run website as well as the implementation of a new membership community platform. My responsibilities included developing the site architecture, user experience design, visual design and branding, copywriting, project management, vendor (Wordpress developer) management, and quality assurance. The redesign resulted in a 175% increase in Community registrations.

Civic Engagement Email Course

Our Programs team developed content to engage women looking to make a difference in their communities. We wanted a low-barrier modality for participating and ultimately decided on a short, simple email course. I crafted the experience from user flow to reporting.

Power in Purpose Audio Course

Our Programs team retooled an existing virtual workshop series to fit an on-demand audio course available within our community platform. They developed the curriculum and recorded the audio files, and I designed the experience for the learner.

Presentations

In every position I have held throughout my career, developing presentations has always been a significant piece. The topics of these presentations varied from imposter syndrome to hospice pharmaceutical management to surviving your soul-crushing day job. The purpose of these presentations also varied from securing a round of funding to encouraging women to run for office to selling internal teams on valuable initiatives. However, regardless of purpose, the key was always the storytelling.

BRAND PERSONALITY GUIDE

Because I joined Curalate as the fourth team member, I was able to build the brand from the ground up. While my initial focus was the product, I eventually was able to turn my creative direction toward the brand and its personality. This was a brief guide that was presented to the marketing and go-to-market teams in order to clarify how we were to be perceived by external stakeholders.

Role call digital campaign

At the end of 2019, we launched the Role Call campaign to show everyone that they can play a part in equal representation, even if they are not a woman running for office. I worked closely with the Programs team to develop digital assets, branding, and swag which centered around an interactive quiz that allowed individuals to find the right role for them.

miscellaneous projects

Because I have been lucky enough to work for small, growing organizations that love to experiment, I have had projects that vary from designing socks to building and launching a data warehouse. I’ve included a few of the more interesting ones here.
